1. Focusing only on cardio

Cardio is a great way to burn extra calories and stay fit, but it’s more of when you want to maintain your weight and not lose. Although cardio can show results slowly and gradually, you need to do more than that to lose weight. 

Weightlifting is an example of that. Along with cardio, you can also try weight lifting to help your muscles grow, avoiding any injuries. And also burn the extra fat you want to get rid of. 

2. Skipping breakfast

Remember that breakfast is called the most important meal of the day for a reason! Cutting breakfast can be the easiest way to cut calories for some, but If you don’t eat when you wake up, your body will hold on to more calories because it’s not getting enough nutrients. Eating breakfast regularly, on the other hand, will help to boost your metabolism. In fact, according to the research, it is more likely for people to lose weight if they are regular with their breakfast. 

3. Cutting sleep hours

Not getting enough sleep can make you more likely to gain weight. There are a number of possible explanations. You might be getting less sleep because you’re stressed, for example, which would make those pounds cling to your body. Or maybe since you’re not sleeping enough, you’re too tired to move around frequently, let alone exercise. Whatever the reason, make sure your head hits the pillow early enough to get a good night’s rest.

4. Eating only low-fat foods

For years, companies told us that fat was bad for us. It seemed to make sense on the surface that eating fat would make you fat, right? Wrong!

Fat is an important macronutrient that your body needs to digest food properly. Eating enough healthy fats can help pace digestion and keep food in your stomach longer, which means you feel full. Plus, all those low-fat foods are loaded with sugar to help them taste better. This makes them even unhealthier than they would have been with fat.

5. Imbalance diet

Our bodies require nutrition to function and a balance is required. Many people are either having too much of a calorie diet or too less, which either way can result in not losing enough weight.
